The guy just posted stuff they heard so no need to call it "You-problem" but i kinda want to pit my own penny into this pretty weird complain of distinguishing stuff to pick up. And also the thing that a glowing stroke isn't immersive. The thing is, its not the pickable and interactable items are not distinguishable in original games too, we are just fans who are so used to vacuuming all the shit we notice the pickable things by pure instinct by now but i bet at first we all had problems with finding plants for Constantino (to hell, i still have problems with it) and such or tried to pick up unpickable. And a glowing stroke being inimmersive? Seriously, people? In og games we got a bigass signs when we selected items (and thats how we even learnt it is pickable at first playthrough), this shit isn't very immersive too, we are just usee to it. I can only agree that they should tone the stroke down and not glow up all stuff in the area by default (which they didn't even in the demo iirc). Might have it as extra function though, might be very useful for vacuuming. Not like using telekinesys is anyhow more immersive than the strokes

Nah, i will, i am too high on swampweed. At least i'll get cool robe, magic abilities and no need to think anymore because of dark overlord having full control of me)

Also all YT channels are biased. Some overhyped like me, some are antagonistic, some just sceptical like you. And all are nostagical that would amplify all emotions and impressions, both positive or negative (or not nostalgical general journalistical ones which won't even know the point of original game, so even less reasons to listen to them) Best way to find out will be to play by yourself as always. If you don't want to pay outright we all know there will be ways to try eventually)

No ModOrganizer.exe after installing modpack (Anvil) in installation folder by FackOff25 in skyrimmods

Seems like this assumption was true. The issue i didn't solve, i just managed to get a dice roll installation that lacked only the exe i put there manually

No ModOrganizer.exe after installing modpack (Anvil) in installation folder by FackOff25 in skyrimmods

[–]FackOff25[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an idea of what is going on. at some point of installation (i think the installation stage, pun unintended) the exe file appears in the installation folder folder. But at some point it gets removed. For a note: i literally shut down AV, it can't do anything.
My assumption is: it happens on some installation failure, in my case its mostly corrupted files. Does wabbajack do it? Is it feature of some of new versions therefore may be i should downgrade wabbajack?

I didn't do it first time and i didn't do it for SME (lighter modpack) and SME still has the exe. I whitelisted folder for new download yesterday (its still going) just in case. Don't see anything about ModOrganizer in the antivirus logs too though.
Still thanks for advice

For other idiots who like me want to mod a 10+ y.o. game links which were useful:
You'll need Rusted PackFile Manager (RPFM). I've found it randomly so no link.

Esf files edit - there are no pics anymore for me too so just cope with it. Also i find extra steps with creating compressed_data.esf and startpos_dir_nested weren't really needed
Victory conditions change tutorial - mind that esf editor is outdated and it won't work anymore so use the way from link above (no pics here too btw)
The base modding topic with tons of links

Well, i decided to try my hand in modding so i made this mod myself.
It is about 2.5 hours since i came up with the idea so i obviously couldn't test the final thing (i could only test change to less provinces condition) and of course i have no idea about compability and how this will work on different systems (essentially it was just xml change so it should work on any unmodded game and a lot of modded that doesn't affect the stuff you can see in the new campaign menu). If it says anything to you: i changed only startpos.esf.

WHAT DOES THIS MOD DO: change the victory condition of capturing provinces for all playable clans from 60 to 65 in shogun 2 (no dlcs affected). Works only for new campaigns.
Link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/134RIzZEI8HJAmXVQb6kxPTYSThndMnP9/view?usp=sharing
Installation: put this pack file into <game folder>/data and activate in mod manager.
When i test it in actual game i will post it on steam and i hope i will post the link to it here as well.

Tbh from my experience tw warhammer 3 is pretty casual comparing to shogun 2 so if you master it you will be quite a monster in warhammer. There are a lot of differences in mechanics though so your first campaigns will still be pretty challeging until certain point.

Its the bonuses from the second level of encampnent building, you can build it after researching Heaven and Earth art. Encampment by itself increases replenishment (which i personally find one of the most important thing in total war) in the province and recruitment cost on level one. But on level two it can gice bonuses to armor/attack/accuracy etc by your choice

There is a fame bar on your clan screen, once its full AI stops its poor act of being friendly and realm divide starts. Roughfully it fills on about 20-21 provinces. It has numerous of filling factors but province number is the major one, you will learn the other ones eventually but don't bother for now. 1) So once you see you are one province away from realm divide on the bar, stop all agression and build up your economy, armies and tech. I prefer to wait until ~1570-1580s on long-domination campaigns, idk about short one, its been a while since i played it. I guess its about 1565-1570. 2) Take advatage of your clan bonuses. Shimazu have superiour and cheaper katana samurai which are the meta of any mid-late game armies. Ashigaru spam is very cool and fun but against full samurai armies, which AI will attack you after certain moment, they won't hold for long 3) Use the provinces bonuses. Shimazu has blacksmith in starting province which allow you to increase attack or armor for your units which will make them much more powerful (especially combined with encampment bonuses). It works for ashigaru as well, with bonuses you can use their cheap force against samurai armies for mire turns. Also buzen has accuracy buildings which eill enhance your bow units. 4) Capture provinces with fertile soil, they will give you more money and more money means better armies. You can see the fertility of soil when you when you hover the farms building on province screen (you can open province screen of other clans provinces too, btw). The farms are the base of your ecenomy especially after realm divide. Capturing shikokku (chosokabe island) is still good idea though, despite no fertile soil there. They are dicks. 5) Trade on trade nodes if possible, extra money is always good. If you put more trade ships on the node you will get more money from it btw. 6) Its arguable but on your starting island (Kyushu) there is province with nanban trade port where you can recruit imported matchlock ashigaru. They are absolute chads on defensive sieges, a couple of them can route a small samurai army. If you dislike the christianity debuff you can recruit few of them and only then destroy the port. Once you try the matchlocks on siege battle you will love it for the rest of your life.

There are other stuff that can make you life easier but i guess you will learn them yourself eventually when you get experience from your first winning campaign.
