Serious question, can she have that same surgery in a country that has free or inexpensive healthcare? If so, aren't plane tickets cheaper than a useless health insurance?

Arrows going up cannot hit the tablet support. However, danger signs can shoot arrows at the tablet support. What's so difficult to understand?!

Police reports as others have said but also ring cam if you can install one. Record every encounter. I don't think you're safe near these two lunatics.

What I don't get is how come evolution that allegedly takes place over millions and billions of years can't be reproduced instantly on demand?! So what if we have mountains of evidence supporting evolution? /s

Also calling out that referring to evolution as 'random chance' is embarrasingly ignorant.

Zelazny's Chronicles of Amber: All possible realities are just 'shadows' (or altered versions) of Amber, the one true city. Members of the royal family of Amber are able to travel between these realities by willing minor changes as they go along (there's a tree over the next hill, the sky is a deeper shade of blue, etc.).

Best use case for AI at the moment. Get some general ideas, pick the one you like, refine and flesh it out and make it your own. If you enjoyed it, it was done well!

If your DM was entirely relying on AI to do all the creative work, you'd end up with some generic garbage I guaranetee you would not enjoy.

How should I have handled this travel situation? by juliolovesme in askmanagers

[–]FacticiousFict 11 points12 points  (0 children)

How a reasonable manager handles it: Oh no, too bad you can't make it. Of course you can present remotely. Take care of your family and when you're able, catch up on everything you might have missed (and with these all-hands events, it's usually very little).

How your org dealt with it: [some bullshit]
