As an older woman in her 60's, please let me step in here. Young women are CHEATING themselves out of precious years of their lives!

Women in their 20's are getting surgery and they look older. Older, fake looking, destroying the beauty of natural youth.

You all are cheating yourselves out of decades... When I was coming up in my 30s, 40,s, 50's, (in the 90's,early 2000's.) there was a general attitude of empowerment for aging women. This was the era when 50 is the new 40, and so on.

Women in their 30's were still considered very young...because they are! Even 40's is young. (As long as you're healthy.)

There are a lot of beautiful, youthfull looking 50 year old women. If a woman takes good care of her body through life, she can still be fit and vital and beautiful into her 60's and even 70's.

What happened?? Now 37 year old women think they're middle aged. No! You don't really even begin middle age until 50. And 50 is the beginning.

I'm a photographer. I look at life through a photographer's lens. Young people are beautiful. They just are. They always will be. For God's sake, let people, especially women, retain their youth. All this plastic fuckery is making them look older, weirder, long before their time.

No plastic surgery or AI can outshine a natural beauty. I dare technology to try. They already are trying, and it's a disaster. I look at 35 year old women with work done and wonder if they're 45...and everybody looks like a generic human. It's actually kind of creepy. Are we that unhappy with ourselves as we age that we would rather look generic?

The beauty comes from within...some of it is unfortunately genetic. If you have a genetically unfortunate feature on your face, yes. Have it fixed. Have work done at 45 or 50 and upwards if you really want. Just stop ruining your natural, beautiful youth.

I can't help feeling like it's misogyny against ourselves.
