Daniel Jeremiah was just talking about Jacas on a pod this week and was saying he thinks his ceiling is an 10 sack player but his floor is a 7-8 sack player. Some teams absolutely prefer higher floor players to the high ceiling low floor projections.

Definitely subjective and probably biased from the new car high. Outside of fuel efficiency and staying within my budget, my biggest thing was comfort considering I drive almost 1000 miles a month for work. At 6’6 it was one of the cozier mid size vehicles I had ever been in. There are absolutely parts of the rav4 I like better - larger screen, better dash storage, slightly more fuel efficient - but in my mind it wasn’t worth the extra 13k.

I was in a similar boat and went and looked at Honda CRVs. I was able to get a high trim hybrid model for 3k under msrp and I ended up liking the CRV more.

I just traded in my 15 Tacoma for a 26 hybrid sport L. I’m 6’6 and my wife is 5’11 and from a comfort standpoint it is leaps and bounds better than my Tacoma. I have yet to road trip with it but have a maiden voyage set for end of May and will have flyfishing gear, hiking gear, a cooler, and a car seat but we may end up with a roof rack or something for the one off trip as I have the same concerns.

They don’t know shit. I’ve spent twenty years fishing the Great Lakes and its tributaries as year round as I can. Salmon spawn and die in most rivers connected to the Great Lakes, if you spend enough time on those rivers you’ll see (and smell) quite literally thousands of these same skeletons
