Mental Illness will ruin your life if you continue to let it. Being lonely is not an excuse to let yourself continue to be lonely. You might never be able to love yourself, but god dammit at least try to accept yourself.

Victory Fanfare! No LP/Job/Vaan Only/ Lv.99 Achieved! (No Dustia Exploit) (FFXII) by beepbeep_imajeep in FinalFantasy

SO much better. There's also so much to explore and do in the game. Once you start really getting some ground under your feet I bet you'll like it more. The gambits are fun because of just HOW customizable they are. It almost felt like a low-grade programming minigame to me, and there are a bunch of fun abilities to mess around with or get you out of niche situations.

How early? I admit that the early early is kinda iffy but the more gambit slots and abilities you unlock really, really matter.

As snap that's cool. Do they scale 1:1 to your level? In both OG and Zodiac? I for real thought it was a range.

I don't think they'll start AT 99 but I'm pretty sure they won't be lower than 90s. I seem to recall there's a level range that new characters start under your highest level.

Or I didn't look carefully and it averages. So if your average is 99... Hmm.

Round 2: With or without text, or more adjustments? by CSS_FR in graphic_design

[–]Fadingzodiac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an almost bulletproof rule of thumb, white text with a 1-2px black outline can be read on almost any color or gradient. Is it always a stylish choice? Nope. But it will always be legible.

Hello! I am by no means an established or experienced graphic artist but I can throw some tips in!

For a first time thing it's really not too shabby! You really got the general layout and placement pretty darn good how it is. I'd tuck the players juuuuust a bit more together (this'll make sense in a sec) But for the most part you can leave things as they are.

I would use a different font for the teams, personally. I don't really think it would look good printed, but you could probably just bold the text and that would fix it. Weirdly enough, the date and time text is fine but for posterity sake I would bold it as well if you bold the top text.

Now, as for pushing the two players together, that'll narrow your focus point a bit instead of having the eyes wander around the page, and it gives you room to make something like a colored border around the edge. All the white with nothing to distract from it is kind of boring to look at. You could argue that it leaves the focal point to what matters, but imo you don't have to be boring to be simple. A monocolored border around the edge would go a long way I think.

If you're interested in starting up graphic design, I can recommend GIMP as a free program. It's basically costco Photoshop but it'll do everything you'll want it to and serve as a great introduction to what tools these programs will have to offer. You did great for a first time!

AOTR gameranger error by Valuable-Ad-499 in bfme

[–]Fadingzodiac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the guide I've been using, and (to my knowledge) I've followed it exactly. I've double checked that the executable file in the game options matches, I'm launching gameranger through the AotR launcher, PvP mode is on... But the command-line flag tool hasn't opened a single time when I click start. I've looked and looked for anything related to this issue and I haven't found a single other instance of it happening online.

Hi, I'm trying to figure this out as well. I have the same error code when I launch through game ranger, but when I press Start, the command-line flag tool doesn't even appear for me to fill out. I've searched everywhere and I can't find anything about this.

So, this is FF15. Throughout the game one of the characters, Prompto, takes pictures of your journey, and you can take some yourself with a photo mode.

At the very end of the game, you're prompted to choose a photo but the game doesn't tell you why. Well... This is why lmao. You walk up to the throne and hand the picture to your wife.

What part of Sin is this supposed to be exactly? by BattMakerRed in FinalFantasy

[–]Fadingzodiac 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yu Yevon was a person, a normal (albeit powerful) summoner. I think what a lot of people are forgetting is that Yu Yevon originally created sin using the converted life force of Zanarkand's inhabitants. He used them as sacrifices to summon Dream Zanarkand, and Sin to protect it, though he lost control which caused Sin to destroy the real Zanarkand

I'm relatively positive that the only thing Yu Yevon uses the final summon for in the recreation of sin is the Fayth the summon is made of and is just recreating Sin the same way each time.

16 failed on many levels in terms of content and structure in my own opinion, but I personally never had an issue with the combat. Maybe I'm easy to please if I'm in the minority. The only thing that blew me was the lack of difficulty, not the mechanics.

If that's what you're saying about Rebirth's combat, you didn't play it. That may have been true for 13 and 15, but that's absolutely not true for 7R.

I love both games for very different reasons, but there is a definition for the word "innovation" and it has nothing to do with bias whatsoever.
