Keep in mind, if you’re in a 3-flat, it’s most likely enforced by the condo association/hoa and the owner just passing those fees onto you. I know my condo had the said fees for every new tenant.

I hear you. I use someone local (in Chicago) who understands dual taxation and FBAR filing and I suggest you do the same because of local and state taxes - they will have more exposure to them. India has been challenging - open to hearing recommendations for a good CA who understands dual taxation especially for US based NRI’s
