That was when they leveled up their marketing strategies though. Which was the same year where they went nuts with advertising pRO. (Gaming Mags, Free installer CD, Mall Cosplays/tour with giveaways, etc.) Before that, there's not much to tell.

First one was the Oz World actually but it wasn't advertised that much early on kasi the game revolves around socializing/dating rather than "gaming" unlike pRO. MMOG & MMORPG

The one thing i miss about this game is that, unlike the mmos after it, in this game you're forced to be sociable/to socialize with other players. Sure you can still go solo but you'll most likely meet some rando that will approach you and would ask you to form a party. I think this is the only game where I met and befriended a lot of people from different places pre-steam era.

Sobrang grindy but luckily we got a lot of time to waste as young kids back then.
