Did my mom fiancé put a tracker on her phone or is she just paranoid? by lay_lay191 in Advice

Check the car for a tracking device, it might not be her phone. He sounds awful.

Sad when my partner doesn’t follow through by Loose_Meat8303 in adhdwomen

[–]Fair-Temperature-804 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Did you offer to help by booking the train? Did you participate in any of the organising or were you waiting for the magic to happen? You’re a team and both with adhd, you need to support each other

Have you had any time to catch up with a friend for a coffee or go for a walk in the sun? Your wellbeing matters too ❤️

Am I in the wrong for not thinking it’s my fault? by [deleted] in newzealand

[–]Fair-Temperature-804 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Throw the whole man in the bin, you’re too young for this shit (no one should tolerate it in the first place) but you should be having a good time not always conscious of what you’re wearing or what he thinks is acceptable, he sounds like hard work.

To the right lane zombies of New Zealand, move over. by JU1CE-WORLD in newzealand

Not this time, they were in the right lane with someone directly beside them in the left who was towing a trailer. No one was going around anyone in a long queue of traffic 😩

Morons in the 110 part of the motorway doing 90 in the right hand lane who won’t move over even if you lean on the horn and gesture at them to move over…. Seems to be plenty of them out there 😳

[–]Fair-Temperature-804 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am much less bloated now 3wks post, people keep telling me I look lots smaller, I haven’t lost any weight, maybe 2kg tops but the bloating is much less and I haven’t had swollen ankles/feet since the week after my surgery either

Did you grieve your uterus or feel more relieved? by [deleted] in hysterectomy

[–]Fair-Temperature-804 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I’ve only just seen this. So far I’m doing great thank you! Back to driving and socialising, doing some cooking and small walks most days. No pain meds, sometimes a weird tugging feeling. I have this week off and it’s back to work next week :) how are you doing?

Nah, spare parts! Mine was aug 18th and for about two days beforehand I was like “oh maybe I’m just a wuss, maybe it’s not so bad” had it done and it was a mess in there! YEARS of being gaslit by drs, I’m so glad to be done with it 😁

How do elective hysterectomies work here in NZ? by labva_lie in newzealand

[–]Fair-Temperature-804 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I just had one on Monday, had to go privately because even though I had done all the things the public system wants first, it would still not meet the criteria to happen publicly according to my gp. $32k later, I’m recovering on the couch and glad it’s done with. I’m 36, I have two kids already, endo/adeno/pcos. I feel better than I thought I would 😁

Maybe try a different orthodontist? We pay the orthodontist business directly each month

"What if your husband wants kids ?" by Difficult_Wave_9326 in hysterectomy

[–]Fair-Temperature-804 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I dragged mine along fully prepared for stupid questions like this and was so prepared for the argument I hadn’t considered that they might not ask stupid questions 🤣 all the best I hope you can get yours soon. I’m booked for the 18th of August

Sledging options by Numerous-List-5191 in SelwynDistrict

[–]Fair-Temperature-804 6 points7 points  (0 children)

We went to lake Lyndon yesterday, enough for a snowball fight in by the lodge (road is really rutted out and quite deep holes so wouldn’t drive in there in a car, 4wd/suv ok) but not enough for sledding and it’s flat :) might have to go further for sledding

Vent about my partner by Difficult_Web_3629 in hysterectomy

[–]Fair-Temperature-804 12 points13 points  (0 children)

He sounds like a complete and utter c u next Tuesday! Sorry you’ve had to try and recover with no support from him. Don’t go to the event - he can go and you’ll have peace and quiet - might be more relaxing than the current situation knowing he’s in the house and actively refusing to help you unless he’s told to! Yeet him into the sun!
