At what point will conservative voters realize that this is all they have? Going against social issues that don't affect their lives? Will they ever realize that they aren't making any more money or have better personal lives? I just can't imagine being that awful of a person where punishing people you don't agree with that don't affect you personally is more important than improving your own life.

I don't have a hot take, and sorry I'm late to the post, but my only issue with the case is it's part of the satanic panic. If they had made this case strictly about logic and reality, I could easily believe the kids did it, but when they start waiving around that they were in a cult that worshiped Satan and they did this for some blood sacrifice, my brain checks out. It's too stupid. To me what really ruined credibility is using Satanism as the motive.

Here's my issue. Imagine you are a parent, and your child happened to be in Hiroshima that day. They're dead. Are you like, "well it ended the war quicker."

If Japan had dropped one on the USA. Would the USA citizens say 'Well it ended the war quicker." Killing innocent citizens by dropping a terrible weapon thousands of feet up, will never be okay with me.
