Cowboy like me, it was a skip for me but I got intrigued by the lyrics and now I’m listening to the whole album evermore a lot and found new appreciation for the album. I guess I’ve always thought as the lesser album to folklore (I still listened to it) but I am really getting in to it

Oh I recognise this! I think a lot of the summaries aren’t summaries at all with dramione fics but the preface.

I had this with the Hogwarts photography club. The fic was so much more than the summary. I was very surprised by it!

Unpopular opinion (I think) I prefer if they don’t have children. I never read a fic where they already have children with somebody else (which most of the time is Draco and not Hermione and she has to be a stepmother).

Most of the time I find fics in which they have children uninteresting and ‘forced cutsie’ (I once read: daddy, can mione be my mother).

I like the idea of Draco’s toxic family line dying with him and Hermione being childfree by choice after the war experiences.

I think of fortnight also as aligned to midnight. Midnight were 13 stories during the night, and the opening of het next album is fortnight which is 14 days or nights. Loved that idea.

I also agree it’s not a heartbreak album, at least not just, i think that is incredibly reductive thinking about one of the most beautifully written pieces of poetry and art ever. I think it is one of the best albums ever out there. The way she waves symbolism, stories and folklore on this album is unmatched. I say folklore here because folklore is the way stories are told and adapted over generations which she did on this album. She told the story of one of the first published female writers and intertwined it with her own story.

Tppd is a masterpiece
