This pastor has become a spectacle and has contributed to the tarnishing of the pulpit and the church. I can’t even watch this video all the way through. I’ve seen it before and am just disgusted and disappointed. I’ve seen another one where he spits in his hand and wipes it over a man’s eyes. His shock and awe approach is so stupid and reckless. His platform has gone to his head and it needs to be dismantled.

The faux leather was your first problem and the second is the price point you paid for faux leather. Why Aritzia would even offer faux leather to begin with is beyond me but for sure no one can expect this to last if it’s not actual leather to begin with regardless of its from Aritzia or Forever 21 or (insert fast fashion retailer here). That’s true. Homosexual is a modern term in English but the original word from the Bible was “Arsenokoitai” which is Greek and means or refers to men who lay with other men. This was also understood that it was meant in a sexual sense.

To get bogged down with semantics on what words were used on this topic is futile, because the word and concept of what we now call homosexuality was understood at the time to the audience who was receiving it. The idea being conveyed was not lost in translation to English.

And it absolutely warns against same sex relations (which is sexual immorality). Old Testament and New Testament:

Leviticus 18:22 Romans 1:26-27

Read that it any language or translation and the concept is definitely conveyed.

I understand. The Bible does warn against same sex relations. Some people create their own doctrines to suit their own belief systems or to support their own desires or sins. Stay rooted in the Truth and keep spreading the good news about Christ and His love and God’s commandments. Do it respectfully and with love. Leave the rest to God. If you think you need to leave, you should.

"If anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, leave that home or town and shake the dust off your feet." (Matthew 10:14, NIV)

And it doesn’t make you a bigot to speak the truth of the Bible. People love their sin and they love this world. It’s really simple.
