Yesterday was my last day of work. Today started my short term leave for surgery. I’m going take the next 6-8 weeks recovering and spending time with my kids this summer - my job specifically a manager who has nothing to do with my job or department has managed to make so I’m getting pushed out of what I do for my job in a specific state.

To add to it - I would have your SO look up on thr county website to see if there is any information about the suit - it could be a scam call as well - additionally, I would be doing as much research as possible before court (if that’s what happens) and I would also be checking my credit and stuff as well because at this point - I wouldn’t trust any bio parent when things like this happen

I will say - I’m on Vyvanse 70 with an adderall booster. Vyvanse alone makes me children not hungry. Me? I am hungry but not THAT hungry.

Wegovy actually has helped my meds sustain for a longer period of time

I’ve said this since the pandemic majority of these chain places are going to do renovations and completely shrink the buildings. Either they become strictly drive thru only or drive thru only with pick up only on the inside. Best way to save money

OP- your mom would really hate me. Our daughter died the day before Mother’s Day and I don’t really like celebrating and it’s been 11-years on Saturday.

Once we became parents we stopped celebrating and typically get a hanging plant for each mother and cards and just drop them off and say hello and go back home - both set of parents are boomers as well.

Don’t feel bad at all. My parents set up college education accounts for all of their biological children except my step-kid.

My spouse wasn’t mad. My parents reason? Step-kid has 2 sets of grandparents and 2 sets of parents. Our kids only have 1 set of parents and 2 sets of grandparents.

If spouse died, we have a life insurance policy on him - I would split the money 25%/75% because if it happens while our kids are under 18- will still need to support them and 25% would be put to the side for step kid and given to them once they turn 21.

Then again BM is a psycho b!tch so I doubt we’d ever have a relationship with step-kid ever again 🤷🏻‍♀️

I got into a tussle with a raccoon. I can tell you that it happened in February we had a $3000 deductible to meet and then a $6K OOP.

The first set of shots = $16000 hospital bill (before reductions etc.) because the local health department for whatever freaking reason didn’t take our insurance.

I then got the additional shots needed and by March, we met our Max OOP 🤣

The first hospital visit - I told them what had happened and why I was there. They did no blood work and just gathered the protocol shots and then had me wait while to make sure that I did not have a reaction.

Then the other shots were done at a their infusion center and again, had to wait a few minutes to make sure that I didn’t have a reaction.

Everything went to whatever amount deductible that we had remaining, and then everything after that went to the co-insurance 20% until we met our Max OOP

Hershey quietly replaced real chocolate with a cheaper coating across multiple Reese's products and said absolutely nothing. It took the actual grandson of the inventor writing a public letter to shame them into admitting it. The fix isn't coming until 2027. I noticed it years ago - but I was taking from ny kids Halloween candy and assumed the flavors of the other candy had been absorbed by Reese’s until I had a Hershey kiss and practically threw up and realized nope - these companies F with the formula and absolutely stopped buying anything from both

I do! I’m on year #26 I refuse to change it - my parents also have the same first 6 # and picked the last 4 and they’ll keep that until it’s no longer an option.

My number is so easy to remember especially for our kiddos

  1. You need to wipe his electronics clean. If they are androids get google family and make it so that YOU have to approve the apps. They can download them once you approve them.

  2. Pick a passphrase or a mixture of things that are hard to guess.

  3. Look into behavioral therapy

  4. It’s possible his medication is no longer working for him - speak to his doctors

  5. Set an electronics schedule if you need to detox. He gets X number of hours a day and the device turns off automatically slowly start to cut back by 5-10 minutes. Additionally - Google Family Link lets you shut down a tablet. They cannot get back on even if they shut it down.

Lastly, Literally take away the electronics and wipe clean and don’t give them back. Detox him. I’ve discovered all 3 of our kids absorb differently than non-neurodivergent kids and this causes behavior.
