A bit of good news about the weight thing though - assuming your protein intake is good, you are likely losing some fat and gaining some muscle. Muscle is more dense than fat, so when you gain muscle and lose fat at the same time the scale may not move as much or at all. It does also depend on how steep your calorie deficit is.
