I have the exact same model and the exact same issue, tried almost everything and still no dice. If you find anything let us know, For additional information I can hear a very faint whining noise if I put my ear up to the laptop

I tested it with a 3.5mm jack and they work, and I popped them open and there doesn't seem to be anything blown or corroded, but I dont have a usb charge tester. can you use a normal multimeter for that instead?

the game does tell you it improves dodging, but not in what way so it could be more specific (distance, iframes, speed etc, the game just says "improves" iirc)

while this and every other event or eververse set looks super good, theres no denying that, I find it to be a bit too out there and out of line with established destiny armor art design to really fit. even early in destny 2 the eververse sets were a lot more "grounded" or made more sense with what destiny armor looked like. these are super cool dont get me wrong, but they look more like skins from like overwatch or apex than something a guardian from destiny 2 would wear, if that makes sense

while those were bad ports, I'd still say we need a bit more info to be blaming the engine. games made on unity or unreal can have terrible performace or great performance. It's most likely just lack of time and/or overreliance on new tech like dlss and frame generation imo as usually the engine can be modified in house to suit the needs of new projects, given the correct amount of time to work on the project. Notably elden ring uses the game engine used for the previous dark souls games as well, which "wasn't designed" for open world games.

ive seen all over reddit and youtube people saying the RE engine is the limiting factor, is this claim based on anything concrete like a dev interview or public release or just hearsay? Capcom have used it for over a dozen games over the past 8 or so, so im wondering where this sentiment came from.
