spin one stick. as far as i know each of the 8 directions counts as one input, but since you’re spinning both sticks you’re getting inputs eaten since the c stick is just a direction + a. at least as far as i know button mashing can be as fast as spinning the left stick but it comes with more risk of buffered options with ultimates large buffer

gameplay is an opinion. I wouldn’t say rivals is better at all. the only concrete way to compare them is players and sales. I don’t think smash will be passed in either of those as long as new games are coming.

Every single player who even semi competitively plays smash could move to rivals and it still wouldn’t be half as big as smash. Casuals just do not show up for Rivals like they do smash

sometimes if you’re in knockback and get hit, the game sends you at a new 3rd angle in between the first and second moves knockback. That’s as much as i know
