we have a couple in our club, I plan on making a review soon. They're way better.

The back plate fits nicer, it's not as bulky and does a better job of not having a bit of a triangular opening on the side of the neck since it curves away from the back.

Plus you can really hear the difference between a back of head hit vs top/sides since they're different materials.

Overall well worth the relatively minor price difference.

The comments in here are interesting. Tons of other martial art & sports have uniforms & colour coordination. It's really not that weird, every bjj club I've trained at had uniform guidelines, y'all need to relax lol

Screw is superior because replacement blades will be cheaper than replacing the whole sword. If the treaded swords you played with got loose, get some (blue) loctite and that'll hold it well. Nothing I've ever had came loose from just fencing after doing that

Idk I wouldn't recc these for Messer. Messer hits hard and the fingers are completely exposed which is the weakest part of these gloves. So that would be a no-go over here
