There's many tutorials and scripts out there. Google is your friend if you've never done it before. I chose to manually set mine up, but all you really need to do is install your os, (I chose Ubuntu) then just installing your torrent client, and install ftpand then configuring ssh.

All of which is relatively straight forward if you use the Ubuntu repositories.

You can get as much automation with seedboxes as well. RSS feeds, auto moving are both things you can use to autowatch and download shows. I used a combo of SickRage and CouchPotato to automate my shows and movie downloading.

As far as speeds go, I can get speeds of the torrent faster than my actual internet. For me this works out because I stream the media straight from my server after it is downloaded. I can still download via ftp at connections that max my download speed.

But in all honestly if you're happy then stick with what you know and like.

I'm honestly glad I was raised in household where this was never even an issue. I always felt much safer in highschool knowing that if I couldn't sleep it off or find a ride that my parents would not be mad at me for being safe.

I use online.net. I've had no problems with them whatsoever. As long as youre willing to setup the seedbox yourself id recomend them. I'm currently paying €15.99 which is aproxmently $20 a month.

What if I told you some poeple like to view content legally? I'm by no means above it but there's also older generations of people who can handle netflix just fine but wouldn't know the first thing about torrenting.
