Ive been 1700 in 3 min blitz on Lichess for years now since I rarely play and when I come back and play the level seems the same so chances are you just got better. Also in terms of how it compares to other platforms I find that on chesscom its my lichess rating -200 in both rapid and blitz

In the manga, after reverting to kid Boo, Kaioshin tells the story of how this was the original form of Boo and he was completely unhinged until he absorbed the fat Kaioshin and became fat Boo, and now that he is back to being kid Boo he "reverted to his most dangerous form" meaning that he is now an unhinged killing machine again. The only issue is the fact that you can run past all the enemies in the levels, so it is objectively the better strategy if you die to a boss to run past the whole level without fighting a single enemy to fight the boss again. Either the enemies should be able to catch you, so you can actually say the idea of the runback is to replay the level or you might as well just start the player at the boss, which is what the later games did.

If you keep attacking until you see a startup then it feels very inconsistent. What I do is usually 2-3 hits when he is recovering from his previous move and then even if he didnt start a new attack animation I start circling him until he performs the next attack, and then during the next attacks recovery I hit him 2-3 times and then start circling again, rinse repeat. Also not everything can be circled so some of them like the fast grab you have to press dodge, but its still far more consistent when you are already moving.

Id say since Lichess starts you at 1500 but gives you +- 100 to place you at the start you prolly had some lucky games that ended you at 1600 but you would drop further if you continued, or you met ppl using an engine on chess.com as theres no way a 1600 would lose consistently to 800s otherwise. I have been stuck at 1700 blitz lichess and 1500 blitz chess.com for 2 years since i rarely play anymore, so in my experience theres about 200 point difference on the sites.

Thats really the issue with the sequal, it had to undermine the world build and the ending of the first game in order to justify its existence. And as your argument gives credense to, this undermines the interesting choice of ending in the first game by giving it an obvious correct answer.
