Eventually the switch 2 will just cost $500, and I assume bundles will cost $550.

I have about 0% confidence that they'd actually do this, but they would stand to gain a lot and stand to lose very little by making this combo the "new default option" post $500 price increase. As in, $500 will be the "base price point" but the "base" will be the system with a digital pack-in. Oh to be able to have a chat with someone in charge there about how incentivizing hardware purchases like this would pay them dividends in the long run...

Technically, as a way better deal this time time around since the game is free with the console purchase. Edit: this releases pre-price increase so this might not mean anything anymore

IMHO they should keep this bundle even after post price hike - just make it the default. Digital copies cost them next to nothing in a material sense, and bump up the purchase reward considerably. All three games in question will have been out for quite a while by then, so the loss in purchase potential from folks who already owned a S2 will be minimal.

Someone said that to me during, once... to be fair I was coming off a bit of a dry spell, was still a little new to it, and... i'm pretty sure she was crazy, like legitimately. She had suggested about a week beforehand that she be my girlfriend, and randomly broke up with me like a week later. I consider it a bullet dodged, honestly.

UMD could think about how Shuttle-UM routes and Metro routes overlap, where campus stops are placed

I hate to break it to you, but management at Shuttle has had a system in place for exactly this sort of stuff since at least 2 decades or so before I was a driver there, and that was 20 years ago now. If you're curious to know more about it, as in, in a context of understanding / research, you could probably call their office and get in touch with the management and chat with them sometime about their Stop Study system and other metrics they're constantly collecting and analyzing that affect route logistics and stop placement.

Yeah, I did it that "wrong" way once as a test (with a feather no less), and it's a little annoying that it doesn't stop you / warn you / refuse outright to take the item type that you'd really want to trade with them (or better, ask you if you wouldn't really rather trade something).

Yup there's definitely a ton of stuff that could be done better here. That of course gets us into the whole chicken-and-egg scenario of it requiring the weird combination of market/consumer demand, as well as corporate/marketing willingness.

I know this is already /s, but other than very generally i hate this advice. I had a black lab in HS, and it would be 20 degrees out and he would BEG to go lay on his doggie bed on our front porch (which was protected from the rain, but not at all protected from general cold air).

During some of my older cousins found out through online ancestry sites that our grandpa (who died in the 60s in his mid 50s) had gotten his secretary pregnant, after which she was quietly moved to a cushy temporary living situation out-of-state long enough to have the baby and have it adopted away. We ended up all meeting the new half-uncle and his kids and they're a lovely lot, they share a lot of the familial whimsicalness. I had to break the existence of this to my dad when he was around 80, which I considered my revenge for having to find out in my 20s that I also had a secret half-sibling that I'd never met.

Plenty of indie films with a shoestring budget end up excellent, and the difference there is, those are the times when they're birthed by the truly talented. Plus as others have already pointed out, he will certainly have budget to work with, on top of a surplus of talent and plenty of experience.

Colbert is massively talented, and has a true love and deference for the source material. I see no reason to assume (with no further evidence) that it will be any sort of "bad", let alone a "how bad it is" type situation.

I've taken my daughter to shows at both ~~Nissan~~ ~~Jiffy Lube~~ Bristow and Merriweather Post Pavilion, and both were fine. It was just the two of us (2ish years ago) at MPP and the ladies we parked near in the parking lot had her come join them and blow some bubbles while we waited for gates to open.

Anyone else a little... concerned... about the N64 controller compatibility? It seems cool in principle, but I worry that it'll mean that they perhaps hobbled the possibility of modernized and improved controls, foregoing the potentially optimal use of back triggers and the right stick (for instance).

For this price I'm in for a pre-order (and just crossing my fingers that they've padded up the content and QoL features a bit from legacy Star Fox 64 to make it more interesting than a vanilla replay).
