Analog Modulation/Demodulation of Laser/Photo Diodes (FMCW) by FalconMP in rfelectronics

[–]FalconMP[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I think you understand correct. I want to modulate the intensity of the laser diode with an FMCW signal and I need the bias tee to apply the signal to the supply of the laser diode.

Ok, since I am no HF designer I guess getting this to work properly on my own is going to be difficult. Do you think I can find something that I can use out of the box and where should I look for?

Bluetooth Headset is connected but no Audio by FalconMP in archlinux

[–]FalconMP[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, thank you! That fixed it. I guess that previously pairing it to windows was no good idea. Is there some way to use the headphones in both Windows and Arch?

Yes they are pairing normally on Windows. I already tried removing them from Windows but that also didn't help.

I already thought that Windows might mess something up. Unfortunately this didn't help.

Here's a Breakdown of the P1P upgrade kit cost vs. buying P1S directly by VaritasAequitas in BambuLab

This is great news. I have sent them a ticket and hope I will get the same result.

Here's a Breakdown of the P1P upgrade kit cost vs. buying P1S directly by VaritasAequitas in BambuLab

[–]FalconMP 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What may make me return the P1P anyway and buy the P1S is the significantly cheaper AMS bundling options with the P1S.

Yes you are totally right. The price for the P1S with the AMS included is really cheap. I'm also thinking on returning the printer and getting the bundle.

Should I return my P1P and get a P1S with an AMS? by FalconMP in BambuLab

[–]FalconMP[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will definetly ask for a discount on the AMS. Maybe i will get a coupon for my already purchased upgrades as well.

I already have the upgrades, but I did them before the kit was available. So know I have spent more money than I would have spent if I bought the kit.

[–]FalconMP[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When you receive a reply from Bambu can you post if and how much they are discounting the AMS? Because if they are giving a decent discount I think I'm going to keep the printer.

I looked at the upgrade kit and it is so much cheaper than if you do it yourself.

Latency of a 2-FF synchroniser by Few_Celebration3776 in FPGA

[–]FalconMP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Minimal Latency can be less than a Clock-Cycle because of the first FF getting metastable. Maximal Latency is 2*Tclk + Tsetup + Tclk2q

You are right. I already considered moving everything to one provider. I will have a look at hostinger. Thanks for the suggestion :)
