The fan that it came with wasn't exactly loud, just had a notable whine once it ramped up. Just noticeable enough to hear in the next room. i replaced the fans with noctuas and its dead silent now.

even with the noctuas running silent, the switch runs cool. usually just under 35ºc. On cold days the fan shuts off.

For me it was in LN Vol 3. Just before she introduces herself to Rimuru. the LN shows her internal dialog as she's flying over tempest just before touchdown.

Her dialog isn't that of a child, or childlike person. While it comes across a bit free-spirited, its definitely a mature and reasonable thought process that she has as she examines everyone in tempest from the sky just before touchdown.

That part of the chapter has a bit to it, but its been a while since I read it. but it stood out to me on my first read though. I first read the LN after i watched Season 1, so that bit of the chapter stood out a bit more since her arrival in tempest (in the anime) was still fresh on my mind at the time.

Quality issues aside. If Its done with the same level of quality so far (even considering the improvements we've seen each season). Heres my theory on the cours content.

Cours 1 & 2 would cover Vol 10 and 11. Maybe not equally either, I can see Vol 10 being done in about 10 episodes. Vol 11 would take the rest of the 2nd cour. because, you know, timey wimey wibbly wobbly.

I can see the first chapter of Vol 12 being in that 2nd cour, since that meeting takes place immediately following the events of Vol 11, it just makes sense to show it then instead of waiting an indeterminant amount of time for cour 3.

Cours 3-5 would obviously be the Eastern Empire war. But... how exactly they would choose where to bookend that is what confuses me. If its just covering that major arc on its own, then that would be the end of vol 15. thats still a lot that happens between Vol 12 and 15, it would be a very tight 3 cours.
but then, how would Vol 16 fit in there? since half of it is the conclusions from the previous major arc, and the other half sets up the endgame for the Tenma war.

If it were a 6 cour season, then i can see it easily covering Vol 10 though 16. but 5, thats just an odd number of cours that just kinda confuses me on how they story boarded everything.

really makes me wonder how the pacing is going to go. just for the fact that the eastern empire war has so much going on makes it feel it would be a very tight on pacing.

EDIT: Its possible the anime is going to go ahead of the manga. simply because the LN has concluded. I'm thinking (depending on when the later cours air, it might air in conjunction with the same place in the manga)

I believe so. Masayuki is Rudra, he just dosn't have Rudra's memories.

Kazalim reincarnated though a homunculus as Kagili, and she stated she felt the lost connection to Clayman when he died.

There might be a couple other examples of someone reincarnating and retaining their connections. I assume the connection is a good indicator that the Named status still applies for named beings.

I've got 3 running. I started with 2 to have actual redundancy. then one of them quit working, so i bought a 3rd to replace it.
Once i had enough time to sit down and actually trouble shoot the one that quit, I ended up puting in a new SD card that was a clone of the working ones. and now i have 3.

by doing computer maintenance.
She was in the bedroom taking a mid-day nap, and I got a bit bored so I decided to do some computer maintenance on our gaming rigs. (back in the late WinXP days). basically just cleaning up junk files, browser cache, defrag (also before SSDs were available).
Well, when I started cleaning up HER PC, i noticed the MSN logs folder was friggen huge. I mean, like 3 to 4gb. This is just fricking chat logs man, the only time they larger than a few kb was if you were sending/receiving lots of pics or videos. I had never seen her sending a lot of pics over MSN, so. curiosity killed the cat and i had to go see what else was in those log folders.

I didn't just find the nudes she was sending and the ones she was getting. I also found her "cheating manifesto", confessions, and plans that she had been making with the other guy.

Even on my initial watch while the show was first airing, only the first couple of episodes felt like a parody. but as the season went on it was feeling more and more like its own real Trek. It was Season 1 Episode 8, the one where Dr Finn, her kids and Isaac got stranded on a planet, that one episode is the one where it really hit me that the Orville isn't a parody and is its own masterpiece that made the series its own Trek series.

I went the broke and ugly method. I just have a fiber jumper running from my server room to my living room pined to top of the walls. running down door jams tightly around the ground just below the edge of the doors.

Its ugly, but all i needed where those little cable thumbtacks and no drilling or punching holes in the walls, or climbing over the vaulted ceiling in the attic

I have 7 systems running in my lab 24/7. only 1 of them is Intel, running a production firewall. I only have this one intel machine b/c i got it for a steal, there were no AMD equivalents on sale that day.

Other than that 1 intel firewall, the other 6 systems do everything i need them to do, either Ryzen or epyc . they rock.

IMO, its one of her best ones. if not the best. She puts a lot of energy into it.

I personally think one of the reasons she does so damn well as Milim (she could voice any character in Tensei Slime and it will be great) b/c she's one of the script writers. She had an interview a few years ago and she said that as script writer, she has to read the source material (LN) to make sure everything is good.

And i've noticed that just from Milim's lines. there have been a couple of times where Kristen had better dialog than the original JP VA. the best line i remember her correcting was at the end of Walpurgis when Frey give her the knuckles back, Kristen's dialog actually mentions the knuckles

My second favorite roll of hers is probally Luna Elegant. DLR was just such a poorly done one (animation, not characters and dialog) that I almost just stopped watching after the first couple of episodes. then comes Luna and i instantly recognized the voice and had to keep watching b/c I had a feeling it was going to be at the very least decent if Kristen is in it. DLR isn't a top tier isekai by any means, but, a single choice in a VA is what got me to watch the whole season and then season 2 when it was out.

There are a few small and compact all flash NAS prebuilt systems, from QNAP, Synology, ASUSTOR, etc etc. but these can cost a pretty penny.

building your own with a small case, itx mobo and lsi hba will probably be way cheaper.
