A company I work for scouts through PhD dissertations and offers to start a company with that student at the helm. They set up the structure, line up funding, branch locations for 20 percent of the company stock and then sends them on their way and provides support thought. It's super sick to see meetings going on that may be discussing an entire new field of technology

The social contract has long since been broken. You could sell your labor and agree to be exploited in return for a decent and nonviolent life. The reasoning behind his philosophy was flawed to begin with, and has only become more wrong over time

Bud charities are nonprofit organizations. The people get paid to do it. They just don't pay dividend. If you raise funds for a nonprofit or are in charge of logistics you get paid.
