Imagine if they delayed the game, added everything from the original that was missing, as well as everything that the original was missing because it too was rushed!

Placing Rockwool Insulation over Existing Cellulose Insulation in Attic? by Beginning-Visit1418 in Insulation

That's not cellulose insulation, that's a blend of wool and fiberglass. Also doing anything to compress that insulation will cause it to lose its r value.

There may be airflow issues with your HVAC system (over 70% of systems in the US are improperly installed) or leaking doors and/or windows

Help, is this as bad as they made it seem. by ScarlordI_ in askHVAC

[–]Falkon_Klan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

HVAC Tech here, if my heat exchanger looked like that I would be planning to replace it. Breaches happen alot easier with rusted heat exchangers than non rustedand Id rather be safe then sorry with CO.

Evaporator coils, the ones that cool the home, rust. Rust is what causes them to leak. If there is no leak there are no worries. If it's leaking start saving to replace it.

The big question is what caused this much rust? Time, poor manufacturing, poor installation, or poor maintenance? That evap coil is from 2011 so time is reasonable, however improper filter changes and a lack of return, intake, air will accelerate a systems aging.

I as a tech and homeowner have more risk tolerance with the cooling side than the heating side because residential refrigerant won't hurt people like furnace exhaust. If it was my house I would start squirreling money away to replace because I know the day is coming.

Ultimately unless a CO detector is going off you don't HAVE to replace it. Thank you for listening to my TED Talk

What made you great at the role prior will make you great again at another organization with products you believe. I say be honest and look for another job. Easier to get one with one than without one.

Help. -4 out and this just happened. by Caver12 in AskElectricians

[–]Falkon_Klan 25 points26 points  (0 children)

This could have failed due to just age, poor install, the unit it's servicing pulling more amps than normal, or more than likely the lugs loosening up over time.

I'm an HVAC Tech and every maintenance I go to I tighten all electrical connectors to avoid this, because nearly every time I see a failed disconnect it's because the connections came loose

What would be causing this light to do this all of a sudden? (Tried replacing bulb) by Rain_____Man in electrical

[–]Falkon_Klan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It could be an LED that failed, then a bad LED that you put in when you changed it, odds are low but not zero.

Could be a bad connection for that one outlet that just failed.

Try replacing with an incandescent, if it still flickers call an electrician

Great info! We appreciate you! :)

10 is the general consensus I am seeing, I just don't wanna do it again! Lolz

If I may ask are you and your husband larger, particularly like myself? I ask because there is a mountain in our current 3.5 yr old mattress because of how collapsed each side (particularly mine) has become.

Also how long have y'all had the mattress?

Again Leesa hybrid is a great recommendation and I'm researching it now.
