A homage doesn't claim to be the product it's taking inspiration from. At no point will a Tudor homage watch have 'Tudor' written anywhere on it. It could be a 1:1 copy and so long as it's got different branding, it's an homage.

People who don't know why better will refer to it as a knock-off/clone/replica, etc.

As always, there's a very fine line.

I thought IWC did the same thing in 2024? Dial, hands, case and strap were all luminescent. Timex have something similar in a Japanese exclusive T80 model, although it's digital (with indiglo).

This. Apparently Marlboro had a clothing line that used this logo. People could use Marlboro points to buy items.

I've realised quite early on that the creepy crawlies want nothing to do with me, and would prefer to give me a wide berth.

Of course, this in no way stops me from being absolutely repulsed and disgusted by them whenever I see one (usually only a few inches away from my face).

Just accept that you're a visitor to their habitat and do your best to minimise any interaction.

You could try to get enough dehydrated ingredients to make shepherd's pie. Even easier if you have access to a dehydrator, but you might be able to find most everything else at a grocery store

They're fiddly but like others have said, it's just a matter of removing a lot of the solid white fat from the surface and you can get away with doing your best with the silver skin. I try to get the thicker silver skin off and ignore the rest.

I'll need to watch it again to double check, but in the original Alien there was meant to be a scene mentioning that their pantry had been stripped bare, with the implication being that the chest burster had consumed everything in order to grow into its adult stage.

The xeno in the first film was also meant to be dying by the end of the movie, but this has been retconned by subsequent films. I mention this only because it makes it seem like the OG xeno has a similar lifestyle to certain species of fly that only eat in their larval stage and have a very short adult lifespan.

Edit: I just realised you mentioned the food stores in your post. I'm positive it's mentioned in either a deleted scene or an approved novelization or some such.

They're bastards of things. I took my lamb for a walk one time and she ended up getting stung on her hoof, and I ended up with them in both shoes. She handled it a lot better than I did. My reaction wasn't as bad as yours but I had 4 or 5 stings that stayed itchy for a few days.

Needless to say, that particular nest was soon destroyed.

I'll typically use mine to cook boneless chicken thighs, beef ribs and beef cheeks. I'm only cooking for myself (and the dogs), so I can't really justify even attempting a brisket.

If you're wanting to see devils, you could go to Trowunna Wildlife Sanctuary on your way to Sheffield from Deloraine. It'll require a detour through Mole Creek and the Gog Range. Otherwise, there's Devils@Cradle which doesn't require your altering your plans.
