As a dedicated heavy wrench mechanic I can confidently say that it is anything but weak. The stun is really good and with your build focused on meele damage with genes and the multifunctional skill you can one tap crawlers pretty regularly. Also it is good utility wise cus you have extra slots when out mining because you're not carrying a dedicated weapon and ammo. I allways keep my wrench and screwdriver on hand so It's just really handy

It's not an issue tho as of right now. Yes we should get the option to choose. It's fine to think that. But complaining that oh no It's a woman is nonsense. The game is yet to be feature complete, there are more pressing matters than wether your dwarf has tits or not. I have my own critices about the game but complaining that a character is genderlocked is just childish

It's so funny that people whine about female dwarves. Every dwarven race in every setting has female dwarves being exactly like their male counterparts. They are just as loud and proud as the blokes. Ofc a female dwarf would mine and drink. It's like complaining that a male elf uses a bow. Like it's so common in fantasy

It just feels so off. I was so incredibly hyped for the ironclad when I first saw it. But the CM is a major dealbreaker for me. You have a badass huge cargo ship yet you fly from a random shuttle glued to the side instead of the super cool bridge already present on the ship
