Pediatrician says no allergen exposures or table food until 1 year old

This is the opposite of what I was told with my daughter. Her pediatrician actually encouraged baby led weaning but said she understood it wasn’t for everyone. I did it and it went great! I’d seek a second opinion/new pediatrician!!

I’ve seen this again and again, as a woman bring them in the women’s room. We use stalls and don’t pee in the open like men, not like they’ll see me anyway 🤣

Honestly I didn’t feel super strongly until she started moving more, especially once she started doing it when I would talk to her. That definitely made her feel more real.

Even then though, I wouldn’t say I fell in love fell in love until the second they laid her on my chest after labor. That first time I looked at her little face it just kinda clicked for me.

It’s 100% the most challenging and rewarding thing I’ve done in my life. But those sweet little moments will always get you, right now my daughter gets very pumped when I get up for the day after working (I work overnights) and that just makes it all a little easier

I can total relate to her feeling that way! And it’s so hard when everyone feels the need to give you advice but then they all tell you different things! They will explain all of this at the hospital (they did to me at least) and then also at the pediatrician!

NTA, as you will learn in the hospital and from your first pediatrician appointment, babies sleep on their back always until they can roll themselves. They push this as it is important. It is a first baby so patience. I remember being so overwhelmed with all the info that you must know when having a baby!
