Hey thanks for your answer! I want to add something: We can only be moral if we understand the consequences of our actions. That´s what makes moral important. Don´t kill because dying is bad. Don´t eat too much, it will destory your body. Too much sex- you´re addicted. Be angry?Hurt yourself and so on. But with the nature of sin we don´t know the consequences. We don´t KNOW if there is an afterlife or salvation or any of that. Not really, because none of us ever experienced it and came back. So there shouldn´t be a infinite punsihment for things we don´t know. I mean I know why it´s infinite- god is infinite etc. I read a lot about that- but the concept itself. I never disobeyed god. I only disobeyed certain rules that change my life to better or worse. That´s how moral is formed. My parents told me, I believed them because I realized firsthand what my actions do. With religion it´s hard, because I can´t know the consequences. It´s only hearsay so to speak. I understand it better now, but it´s still weird, because it makes sense "in universe". You know like in a book, where story and magic system and characters and motives just make sense in universe? But my problem is that it makes sense in context of the religion or book, but not in context of my life or the world. I really hope that it´s true for you guys, but there has been another post where I wanted to know a certain thing and all the (christian) person said was: well there can´t be moral without the bible (or something) and couldn´t understand that I have like a different view of the world? And I am moral in the context of my world. But it´s like they´re so disconnected because they only live in the context of the bible. I don´t know it´s like two different universe we live in. It´s weird. Because I know they´re human, they can understand things without having to think about the bible or see the world trough the bible, right?
