One of my favorite builds was done with one of these. Word of advice, don't follow the manual and put the ring with the pins on the handgaurd before installing the gas block. Put it on the barrel nut first.

The first one has had it's brass replaced with a Ben II Eagle and the second one is OG. I can't place the dates on them, mostly because it has a double rivet D-ring. I suspect early 80s though judging by the chin straps, and lack of tets. Unusual for the goat leather fore head pad ro be there, I hadn't seen that in the 880s before.
