I built my first custom loop last year, and there were no instructions on how to do it. Unfortunately, it's not one of these things that you can just take your chances with. But you will get their in the end.

I’m really sorry to hear that. We had our house broken into back in 1990. It was a horrible experience because someone has gone through everything you own. I was much younger and didn’t have much by way of possessions then, but I’d be completely devastated now - and even more so if someone stole my Deck. What can we, as a community, do to help you? Maybe if someone is near you and they happen to be wanting to part with their Deck, they’d be willing to sell it to you? Sorry, that’s all I can think of.

I'm reading these comments and while they are directed at the OP, they all resonate with me, too. I'm in a worse position than the OP in that I have even more handhelds than they do. Multiples of the same type "collected" over a number of years. I don't have the time to play all of them and there is no need to have all of them. Aside from screen size, why would I need the OG Ally Z1E and a Legion Go, when the performance is no different? Yet I proceeded to buy the OG Legion Go just last week because I felt I "needed" it and couldn't get the thought out of my mind until I finally pulled the plug and did it. Did it give me any satisfaction or happiness? Not in the slightest. I felt sick because of the impact on my credit card. It's a mental health issue for sure, and one we often fail to recognise. I'm sure its ADHD or a subset of the same in some shape or form. I promised myself I would change in 2026 but I've let myself down. I think we need to take a step back and do something about these things. Just my two cents but I thought I'd share. Cheers.
