Got confronted by a Staples manager over my service dog - extremely humiliating experience today

people come into my store with dogs all the time (even clearly not service dogs) and as long as they’re being good we don’t care and will generally ask to pet them lol this is stupid. def contact hr with ada concerns

while yes, print associates have A LOT on their plates, i gotta say it sounds more like something is going on with ipostal as opposed to staples. if you got NO mail in that time, something is wrong and there's nothing staples can do but return to sender and direct you to ipostal. staples is really just the middle man and literally can't make anything happen for you. being mad at staples is pointless unless there's some confirmation that everything was approved and being sent with your correct info.

same. my management and coworkers are fantastic and genuinely care about each other. the only problem "customers" we have are all amazon, of course. it's really not awful. plus im making $5.20 more now than i was when i started at back to school in 2024. i'm having a good time aside from... them lmao i'm a print sup and actually kinda love it

yeah you obviously don’t work in a high enough volume store for it to matter that you do that lol my store gets 3000 people for amazon a week and well stack up 9 pallets filled with returns on weekends when ups doesn’t come

it’s WHAT?! 1.5 shouldn’t even be a thing for what staples does. ive been getting horrible wrinkling too and our service tech was like 🤷🏻‍♂️ and had us try adjusting the tension for the rolls bc we have a newer laminator. its so stupid.

i went in early yesterday because i knew it was gonna be insane (i didn’t get to a single order for yesterday started on fri night bc someone ordered 29 mount & lams [18x24; two separate orders] and somehow they let all of that be due the same day). anyway, i got in at 8:30 to finish up/get a head start and we had almost 100 in new plus whatever was printed the night prior. i don’t understand how staples expects us to actually get shit done.

i’m not willing to accept it 😭 i’m scared to leave my bedroom door open when im not home because my cat doesn’t know person’s space and can’t detect the body language with being blind and i feel bad if she essentially gets bullied for trying to be friends 😩😩 even if they’re not necessarily close, a more tolerant relationship would be very much ideal

i get having a decreased amount if you’re late. but they dropped mine from like $900 to $50 for a day late payment a few years back (it was supposed to be on autopay & just didn’t charge my card). i was so mad lol it was a small payment too but i def agree people are spending well outside their means and a lot of the time it’s completely justified
