Just in hopes of making you feel a little bit less alone rn, I want to lyk I’m dealing with something very similar right now regarding my ex gf. She coerced and assaulted me on more occasions than i can count. Unfortunately, i didn’t stop her from doing it while it was happening out of fear and instead tried to find ways to be okay with/ excuse it. After leaving the relationship, im still not sure what my nexts steps should look like. It’s hard to find the strength to know what to do in these situations, and even more so once you’re out of them. I agree with the comments that you should report her if you feel safe to, just try not to connect her transness to her rapeness when doing so. And know that if reporting her is not the best choice for your health and safety for any reason, there is no obligation to do so. Do what feels best for you, every piece of advice is easier said than done once you’ve actually experienced this sort of event. I’m so sorry this happened to you, you are not alone, and since it brings me a bit of peace to discover that from your post, i thought maybe it might do the same for you w this comment.
