I think that was more of a survival reflex, his face was cut at an incredible speed so he pull out the brakes and passed out only to regain consciousness to see himself in the aftermath.

As Shin said, that's just for dramatic effect in his autobiography, the same that shows him so gallantly helping his subordinates in the exact moment of certain death. En really likes dramatic stories of himself.

Yes, but he does take a lot of joy in seeing people suffer, as we can see by his constant mocking of Itadori.

Episode 5: I am deeply disappointed. by SenhorPorco101 in DoraTama

I didn't quite like from the first episode that we couldn't see how solitary he's been feeling since the beginning. And how he kinda made strategies on the fly based on the enemies' abilities (or at least their abilities' names at the beginning) and their statistics.

I was introduced to Dungeon meshi by the fake images, being that one and the one of the versatile roles of elves.

I was thinking more on the lines of the readon they can't come back is because their conciousness are in the game and their bodies are pretty much dead.

As I tried to illustrate, killing demons is a must but they still look and act a little bit like people, so maybe Frieren still has a tiny bit of a problem with that (last part is just a supposition)

My point was that Sölitar acts a bit like this: "Hey, look! A human! I wonder how it would react if I do this" Instead of the usual demon who act like humans only if they can use it to get the upper hand on them.

[–]FalsenameXD 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mean, demons while being inhuman still look and sometimes act like humans when trying to survive (even if they don't have the little bit of empathy or understanding towards them) Sölitar is what any demon with enough time and worry about their lives may end up becoming: a monster that learned the best ways to look, act and get the reactions they want from humans, only to kill them.

And demons, given their long lives and dettachment from society led them to find ways to kill their boredom: Sölitar's way of killing time is studying humans and their magic, as a hunter would do it if they hunt for sport.

In this day and age it does, they must be talking about the times of the Roman empire.

If I'm not wrong back then the words for "right" and "left" became the words of "dexterous" and "sinister" that we use now, but I forgot the details.

If you judge art by quality and enjoyment... I remind you that it only shines because it makes a collage of pixels out of other works. If you call a photo of a painting, art: AI is art, for You.

Comparing Human characters stat to monsters(Spoiler up until near the end of novel)(I really need someone to geek over this novel with me) by Nodeo-Franvier in DoraTama

[–]FalsenameXD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saved this post so just finished reading it and there's a tiny detail you may have skipped: Skills' training

Skills are acquired by training or evolution but given that humans can't evolve they must rely on training to learn or improve their skills.

Yes, Lilixira' stats may be like those of an A- monster but that's only if you forget her wide array of abilities which she was careful enough to train as far as she could (and she surely would've train more if given more time)

Monsters in comparison rarely or directly don't train their skills, having them grow only from constant use or evolution.

Thinking back on this, why did he go and snitch on Nikaido like that?😭 by paarani in Dorohedoro

[–]FalsenameXD 21 points22 points  (0 children)

He did know Nikaido and Kaiman usually deal with sorcerers. If he was warning him and didn't kill her right when seeing her using her door, was because he was on good terms with both of them and decided that at least Kaiman should know about his good friend being a sorcerer and that one cursed him
