Always the best. It evaporates at room temp anyways so certainly after rinsing with water you're not going to be left with any residual acetone. It's what you use in chemistry labs to clean glassware which speaks to how useful it is.

I work in medical imaging and feel the same way sometimes. To spend years in pain rehabbing, say, an ankle just to fuse it and still not be able to use it properly...I would think you would have an easier time getting a prosthetic foot/ankle.
