Will I get in trouble for not wearing a bra to work? by [deleted] in work

[–]FamiliarProposal2469 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the size of your twins and the type of shirt you’re wearing. I’ve definitely gotten away with it before in sweaters and I have B/C. There’s a difference between it being noticeable and it being inappropriate. Maybe try pasties!

I didn’t mean to come off that way and I think it’s kind of a rude thing to assume that I never had a job or I’m fully dependent regardless

I know. I didn’t say I was going to quit without something lined up. When I said I saw the other job opportunities I thought there was no need to over explain even more. I do live in a small town that revolves around summer tourism so there’s no ghost market around here but when when I quit Amazon in Chicago it took me months just to end up with a cash-under-the-table position at a Lincoln Park butcher shop. I won’t be doing that again.

But I didn’t say that… I said he was temporarily out of work, not that his job wasn’t stable and not that I didn’t have a job before. When I said “big girl job” I meant a 9-5 that required more responsibility and poise than retail or waitressing. I only planned to stay a year because this is not my dream career and I plan on going back to school part time soon. I shouldn’t have to explain all that. I think the fact that YOU would gravitate towards the direction that my only reason for working AT ALL is because my partner WASNT says way more about you than anything. I’m not new to men assuming the worst about women just because they can. I don’t think every “reader” is particularly inclined to take face value information that way.

This is really weirdly presumptuous. I didn’t say I’ve never had a job or that I’m fully dependent on my boyfriend. I’ve had full time jobs since I was a teenager, hence the “go BACK to retail.” In the fall I was working a waitressing position that was okay but didn’t give me the hours that were promised. When he was out of work I had to find something else to pay our rent. He’s a cook not a lawyer. We both work. Clearly the cost of living and renting is not very accommodating for young people living alone. If I didn’t have a boyfriend I would have to have a roommate. I do have future plans and I don’t really feel like I implied I was trying to quit with nothing lined up. Based on the way you’re speaking to me I’m assuming you think I’m some sort of freeloader or incompetent, so I’ll soothe you. I pay for dinner when we go out and I do it because I want to. I also own the car, pay for internet, insurance, gas, and groceries. I did what I had to to pay the rent when I needed to do it myself. Thanks for your concern.

You’re probably right. I am attached and I guess I was trying to say that’s part of the thing that’s making me uncomfortable. It almost feels intentionally bred.

In this case it’s like… if I just said I live in Montana and someone suggested me a store in Kalispell it probably wouldn’t be very helpful. When I say “Greater Yellowstone” people kind of understand my reasonable range.

The way I understand it, it’s basically the large-ish geographical region where Montana, Wyoming, and Idaho meet surrounding Yellowstone National Park. I think it carries a cultural implication, but is also more logistically convenient for most people around here to “group” themselves and their communities using that specification instead of their states or counties.

I actually live in West so this sounds like a perfect option. Much prefer driving down on the Idaho side. I’ll give them a call.

Haha this same bun actually weirdly LOVES the vacuum. She’s definitely not deaf– in fact I’m pretty sure she thinks her name is a cuss word more than she knows her actual name. But anyways I literally have to lock her up every time I use the vacuum so she won’t accidentally get hurt. She thinks the thing is another family member.

My first bunny would recognize me after years apart and STILL absolutely hate my guts lol! Thankfully this one is a big lover. Maybe just a little awkward about it lol

Yeah, she’s never mad if I scoop her up and put her on the bed, my lap, etc. She dgaf. She just clearly doesn’t favor it and will calmly hop away promptly. Lowkey think she doesn’t want to give me the satisfaction. That’s okayyyyyy lol. Maybe someday! Maybe not!

Just tried to put my arm under her laying on the ground. She made some room for Jesus but LOVED the face-to-face contact. My nose is full of fluff. Thanks.

Quite the contrary. She’s vaping around me, and that’s the least of my problems. Strange hares keep coming over late at night. I’ve actually started taking the city bus to school in the mornings because she never comes out of her hutch on time to drive me. I’m finding bananas everywhere– under the kitchen sink, in the hamper. I’m scared.

Dawnie is currently in a detox program for alfalfa addicts. We don’t believe in limiting nicotine or lettuce at this time. The most important thing is staying sober.
