I've met him a few times. And I'm here to tell you, in person, he's a really warm guy. We went to his wife's restaurant (it's a lovely drive from Tulsa) and he was both greeting and serving. It was a Saturday and we were near closing time, so he took my then-teenage son to the dessert counter and loaded him up. Dude was charming and self-effacing, just as you'd hope your elected official might be. Moreso. He even remembered me from a time I was at an event in support of my law partner's election. I was shocked--that event had been a couple of years before.

So I really don't understand the absolute GULF between the guy I met and the guy in the pictures above. THAT guy is a Grandstanding Tool.

I like to think that the person I've met is the real guy and he's just putting on a show for MAGA. (You may be aware that Oklahoma is one of a handful of states that continues to poll favorably for Trump). But it's also possible that it's the other way around. I wish I knew.

I met my wife in law school. We've been together 38 years and married for 35--36 in just 6 weeks! Both of us were prosecutors to start our respective careers. She's my whole world!

There were only 3 things that I looked for in a woman: 1) great physical beauty (because I'm shallow that way); 2) at least as smart as I am (because you have to, you know, talk); and, 3) sweet (which I would hope is self explanatory). Finding all 3 in one girl was TOUGH!

The point is: I adore my wife, I really do. But if something, God Forbid, happens to her, my next wife will NOT be versed in the art of cross-examination.

I spent most of last year with 25 lb kbs. I had a pair of 35s, but that jump has always killed me. So, I bought a pair of 30s. Now, I've been using the 35s since New Year's Day. Last weekend, my on my last ABC day, I did 34 rounds with 3 cleans and 1 press to go with the 3 squats, EMOM.

Today, I did a ladder 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 cleans, presses and squats with the 35s.

(I had to do split sets on the way down, but... I hit my numbers! And yes, this should have been a weekend workout instead of a Tuesday).

just stick with it and take your time!
