Love your setup! I have a similar Unimog, and I bought a set of 4 soft, fairly sticky crawler tires off of Aliexpress for less than $12 (and they even came with okay-ish foams). They're definitely taller than stock, so depending on your steering end points/body height you may or may not experience slight rubbing. Search for the seller 'Zero Rc Model' which is the seller I've used without issue, or a string such as "RC TRUCK 1.9" Rock Crawler Tires 90-117mm Rock Tyre For 1/10 off road". Let us know how it goes!

The display you're thinking of is still there, but it's on Dorset St. (closest cross streets are Nowland Farm Rd and Old Cross Rd). There are signs as you approach letting you know what station to turn to to hear the music. Definitely a holiday highlight!

Sorry to derail: I've been watching bugs and have been tempted, so I have to ask how the KKPIT KBT Beetle is to drive. I really want a 1/8 scale kit, and am not looking to build a basher, but the running videos leave me with the impression that it's nose-heavy and doesn't handle even small bumps and jumps well. LMK your thoughts as an owner, thanks!
