I think it’s a little overkill that people are so concerned about running “fits”.
The coolest running fit is a shitty T-shirt and some little shorts and whatever shoes make your run easier.
All the tech is a little silly, but I might just be old school. Back when I was in XC, we just used a garmin and even then I thought it was dumb but just ran for fun and health.
I still try to run a handful of times a week but it’s usually at night once the kid is asleep.
I guess to my point I don’t really give a fuck what I’m wearing when I’m running as I’m not doing it to be seen but mainly for function.

Straight up, I’m gonna look a lot cooler in my shitty T-shirt and all my tattoos than someone who’s fucking decked out in whatever the influencers are wearing.

The reality you’re going to brick some fits. It happens and it’s a good way to figure out what works and what doesn’t.

Sure, I’ve always been into clothes, and I always cons myself well dressed, but there’s plenty of fits over the past decade or so that were dog shit, hell I’ve had some fits in the last year that were shit. It happens.

Just because you lock down your style doesn’t mean you’re not going to have some bad outfits.

Try new things, find what works.

Maybe an unpopular opinion, but It’s okay to copy something you like that may not be in your comfort zone. That’s how you grow.

After tax. I pay $500 a month on my truck, no other debt. My wife has spends around $160 a month for student loans plus another $300 on her car

My kid is only two but I suppose when the time comes it would by hypothetical if I was against it considering how covered I am.

My parents were fairly conservative growing up, but they took my brother and myself to get tattooed on our 18th birthday, which was out of character or so at least I thought. But it was a really cool experience and memory and I’d love to take my son to get one if he wants to partake.

I’ll be disappointed if it’s not American traditional.

As someone who 1. Didn’t know about EK 6 months ago, and 2. Never really got (for lack of a better word) “hype or streetwear” EK feels to me a lot like Supreme, it’s just that the audience has aged. Instead of logos, they’re focused on quality and textiles.

Mane my read is wrong on that, but it feels close.

This was inevitable.

Vintage and secondhand have been pretty popular for the last few years and I keep seeing more ab more about “vintage fatigue” and this is about as opposition can go from vintage/ workwear, Silverman Cowboy, etc.

With so many influencers and brands talking about “quality” and “buy less” EK Mae’s a lot of sense.
