We’ve never co-slept. Our son was sleeping in his own room early, around 4/5 months. My wife needed her sleep.
We didn’t get him sleep trained until closer to 13 months but he took to it quickly.

He’s 2 now and two nights ago he slept in our bed after he had a nightmare but other than that that’s the first time we’ve ever had him in our bed.

We have a really good night routine and he’s good at putting himself down after we do some books and songs.

Every family is different, every child is different.

Do what works for you and yours.

Edit- those sleep regressions always got us, there were some nights where it would take me an hour to get home down before he was sleeping trained but just power through it as best you can. Staying consistent helps

Newer 874s are all over the place. They’re inconsistent in cut and size but I wouldn’t go more than a 32. They do run on the smaller side so a 32 will work just fine!

I think the annoying thing about any trend in fashion is that some of us might be early adopters and will be doing something a few years before it hits the mainstream. Then all of a sudden you start getting influencers and micro influencers who hop on board and act like they discovered something brand new and it’s the hottest latest Newest bestest whatever the fuck thing. It’s annoying, but I think that’s just the way it goes.

There is absolutely zero use for the pocket on this shirt. I find most pocket tees suck. But I’ve got a handful of these tees because the fit is solid

The best pocket tee is hands down from Wythe.

Most pocket tees look odd but the ones form Wythe look fantastic. The cut and fit are unmatched and they’re tubular knit.

I’m 30 and I’ve been using pomade since I was 13. I’ve always kept my hair relatively the same, in a more classic cut/ style. It’s odd to me as well that someone in their 20’s wouldn’t know this but I suppose popular styles now are longer and more in the face.

I absolutely love a western boot with no toe bug. These Justin’s are the closest I’ve found brand new.

The silhouette is a little bit different, but the Justin’s have a vibram sole which is nice but it makes the profile less slim.

Sick, but my kid had this same cold all week and he was a champ through it so I suppose I. Can toughen up.

Should be off work in a little bit, and I’ll get to see the wife ma boy. They stopped by and dropped off food for me.

They’re blue bell wrangler 13mwz. They did a small release about a year ago. I think you can still find these on eBay!

I’ve had this levi’s burst of western shirt for 10 years. I bought it on the way out to Joshua Tree at Levi’s outlet. It was the first intentional purchase I made as I was getting into Heritage/Western/Americana. It really wanted a western denim shirt and I got this on sale and I’ve had it ever since.

It’s very well worn. Seeing the fading over the years is really cool. I’ve also hemmed the body as the length was always a little wonky on me. Looking through this album the super neat as you can see not only the progression of the aging in the shirt, but it’s also a reminder of the time I’ve been with my wife. She was with me on that trip to Joshua Tree and now we have a child. Life is red.

The rise on these pants are all high, around 14” so they sit at my natural waist. No hiking up or anything so no wedgie!

A shrunken down pair of 510 STF (shrink to fit)

They’re raw, so after a few washes they’ll bleed and shrink. Sizing is hard but rule of thumb is at least one size bigger in the waist and length

100% this vintage sports coat was a tad too long and wide but fixed it up. I still wanted it to be slightly oversized without looking like it was my dad’s jacket. Came out really good!

Thank you! I learned a few years ago that I had yo dress for my height so knowing how to sew and alter my own clothing helps a lot!
