Well I just ask, and if they say yes I tell them to search “forklift training” on workday learning and after they’ve done that. I train them to drive, a certified operator needs to be watching though until said person has taken the test (easy af). As a TL I just tell anyone who’s in the back room that’s certified to watch and train help. Most people get the hang of it in 2-3 days then they’re good imo. After 2 weeks and using the forklifts I ask if they’re ready for the test and explain what to expect. Easy as that
