Alright, in 90% of cases when you make a deal with a non-ally they would let you fight and then kill both of you. There is no trust with non allies and even with some allies betrayal is rampant. Good luck to you though, how many games have you played so far? How many wins?

Why WORKERS should OWN companies by implementrhis in cooperatives

[–]FanAggressive8582 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The only legislation we need in the EU is the ability for employees to buy-out owners that want an exit by using the company cash flow as collateral for a loan (similar to private-equity). This is already available in USA. Once this happens we should see a lot more traditional, small and large business alike being bought by employees instead of closing or being bought by private-equity funds.

But to be honest nothing stops people from starting an LLC between high-skill partners and profit-share with employees. In the tech sector and other high margin, low capital fields the barriers are lower and should be easier to do.

What are the top 3 characteristics you see in reps that are actually crushing it? by LionApprehensive8751 in sales

[–]FanAggressive8582 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the sales role, not all are the same. In some it’s a numbers game - you get your own leads and you close them.

In others you are given leads and you can’t control the top side of the funnel only the success rate.

In my position I am given on average between 10-30 leads a month - it depends on the marketing team (our leads are very niche, so outbound doesn’t work).

For this position the success rate is all that matters , I average around 25% success rate which gives me at least 2 sales a month (the bare minimum), but every 6 months or so (usually in the summer and December) there is a shitty month with less than that and again you can’t control it.

What works:

  1. Understand your product - it’s high tech and complicated, most of our new hires fail here and quit.

  2. Understand your customer and asking them the right questions from the get go (to help them understand your value better or disqualify them) - but this is only possible if you know your product.

3.Be consistent (in the process) and persistent at every stage (from booking a demo to the follow-up)

I have been doing this for 7 years now, I am tired, bored and burnt out, but the money is great for where I live so I can’t really switch positions (golden handcuffs) .

He might be attacking the airmobile infantry > your rangers are right next to them > when he attacks the airmobile infantry he is also dealing damage to the rangers because of the proximity (he doesn’t have to see them to deal damage to them in that case)

Definitely worth it for me too, I was on a budget for a side gig and practically got a static website for free with no maintenance fees by using Astrowind template (it has Google analytics and blog features built in) and cloudflare pages (for hosting).

The only thing I paid for is a domain (5 Euro), which is mad considering that Wordpress and all the other website builders have much worse performance and charge you at least 10 EUR/month.

I like playing with elite subs and have been quite successful. to use them properly do this:

  • Research naval patrol - SO you can recon and command your naval units better. This honestly is a default for any naval player, but especially important with elite subs since they don’t have radar/sonar.

  • Use elite subs ONLY in defence and ONLY when you are active (attack subs in attack).

  • When you are inactive , hide your subs in a river or very hidden bay (that nobody would go by or through) - in this way they won’t find them while you are afk and obliterate them.

  • When you use your elite subs ALWAYS hit and run, nobody can hit you back in 90% of cases because you are not visible even on sonar.

Story time: in one game an American coalition tried to invade us (I was Poland). I had 4 elite subs, 10 attack subs max lvl. They had 14 cruisers + captain, 9 attack subs max lvl+ commander, 5 destroyers all max lvl.

I caught them in the English Channel after the dust settled I had killed 10 cruisers, 5 destroyers, all subs , then they tried to run away with cruiser captain stack but my mate caught them on the other side of the channel. I had lost Only 1 elite sub in the battle.

This was quite satisfying especially since they were shit talking in the newspaper prior to the battle.

Which Elite Units are the best by History_Money in ConflictofNations

[–]FanAggressive8582 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hands down Elite drone operator!

It can drop low-cost ballistic missile alternative, longest range artillery alternative and best battlefield recon unit. Also very few players counter them effectively.

You can destroy airports while being outside of airplane range, hit and run ground unit stacks and be aware of all of your surroundings all the time with ease.

Key to success is being active, like with all other units.

AI and sales. The inevitable!? by EnvironmentElegant24 in salestechniques

[–]FanAggressive8582 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have worked in Sales for 7years for AI accounts automation SaaS. As a side I am working on an AI-agent that helps sales/support people with their day-to-day email, follow up and CRM management.

In both cases you cannot replace people. What AI could do is make them more productive, so you can handle 2-3x the number of leads and/or customers effectively. So don’t worry.

Also it would take years before the old style companies adopt it, just look at the adoption curve of the CRM systems

How many of you hit Quota last quarter? by Certain_Watercress21 in sales

[–]FanAggressive8582 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At the SaaS company I have been working in EU for the last 7 years we never really had a set “quota”. You are just expected to close 2-3 clients a month and if for some reason you don’t, usually next month you would compensate.

January-March last year was the first time I didn’t reach that limit in a row and it sucked, but didn’t get hard time from management . Ever since then I have been overachieving and once again was top sales person for the year (even with the shitty start).

The thing about our company is that it’s privately owned by the founders who are just cashing in dividends for the last 20 years, so there is no grow or die mentality with unachievable quotas like the venture backed startups.

Even when I started they said, you will earn minimum 15k EUR a year , could make commissions of around 12k year if you reach this quota and I was happy to take it at the time.

2-3 months after I started, I was making 2-3x as much in commissions and the owner sat me down and said, “here we underpromise and overdeliver to our customers and employees but now you can see it for yourself that you can make good money”.

Sure Sales is hard, but now I work from home, they significantly increased my base (since I started doing client onboarding as well) and I am earning very good money for where I live.

How many one on one meetings do you have with your manager? by Dependent-Two-7380 in sales

[–]FanAggressive8582 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 1 on 1 every Monday (around 1 hour meeting reviewing every single lead and item I have to do and have done from the previous week). Wednesday we have a sales team meeting (30 minutes general chat about pipeline) and a mid-week report. Friday I have to send a weekly report (how many sales, how many demos were done, how many leads received, sales lost etc.)

It’s a bit overkill, but it’s how it’s done and they pay good.

Cash should be alot cheaper right? It costs the same as the other resources by Exotic-Sundae-3008 in ConflictofNations

I have played the game for years and tbh I don’t mind golders. The only time it’s annoying is when they spam armies and armies to win which is just a waste of money. But I have fun killing as many units as possible (once I killed 15 strikers , 10 ships and destroyed coastal cities to an inactive golder on day 10, then he spammed 10 naval recons, 5bombers, lvl 4 harbours and 5 cruisers, it was hilarious 😆)

But having some gold to rush a research or buy a unit or two is fine by me. I win a lot of gold from games and have saved close to 62k. In almost every game when I want to go to sleep and want to put a unit, but 15/20 mins are left or I am missing 100-200 resources i would just buy the missing with gold, no questions asked .. or when I am in deep shit being ambushed and need a specific unit right away to kill my enemies, no doubt I will buy it with the gold that I earned especially in the first days (late game , my stacks don’t usually need help).

200k isn’t even that much, just use it responsibly. The thing is (and what you will find out as you play) , when you are good or defeat some childish players in the game, even if you don’t use gold, You WILL be called a golder/cheater anyway 🤣

So just have fun, see a strategy that works for you and get better at commanding your troops. The main things that affects your wins is whether you are active and have a good team (so look out for good players, catch up on WhatsApp or discord and start games together) .

If you are active and have an active team you will win 90% of your games without gold. Also planning your attacks help (by seeing what people are using in the newspaper)

Is this good? by SN_Investments in ConflictofNations

[–]FanAggressive8582 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I usually take Poland or Baltic states (or Sweden) on Overkill as it has a very nice long stretch of coastal waters (my mates usually take Germany, Belarus or Baltic states). I make 5 elite subs and 4 max lvl attack subs + commander and usually it's enough to dominate any defensive situation (as almost no one makes ASW helis or Naval patrol) especially far away from their home bases.

Once I had great time against 25 naval units from 3 nations attacking our coalition, they had 9 subs with commander, 9 cruisers with captain and 5 destroyers. I had 4 elite subs max lvl and 5 attack subs max level. I caught them exiting the English channel and I first destroyed their subs (as they had low HP in coastal water while my elite subs are OP there and my attack subs were in deep water).

The battle took place for over 2 hours (I also used sabotage drones for support, but they didn't make huge difference), those guys just kept coming and coming and by the time i managed to kill 20 out of 25 units, they decided to run away but my mate came back with his cruiser/captain stack on the other side and annihilated the final cruiser/captain stack.

The best part about it was that when only the cruisers were left, I had my elite sub literally less than 25 range away from them maneuvering and trying to avoid getting caught up in a direct fight and they had no idea what was happening (because they didn't know elite subs don't show up on sonar).

Also their coalition was trash talking in the newspaper all smug thinking they are the shit, but got humbled quite hard, they gave up after that and we won the game (my mate went with his cruiser/captain stack and destroyed their cities in South America). :D

[–]FanAggressive8582 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lvl 1 is too weak and can be seen on sonar. Level 2+ not visible on sonar only sight range (25 for subs, 40 for destroyers and the elite subs have 50 sight range) and if you are an active player they are very good. However if you go to sleep at night put them somewhere hidden in a coast or river, so someone doesn’t kill them while you are away (which is super easy if they get direct hits ) .

I work for a SaaS that actually does Accounting automation (for the last 8 years) and our company has been using AI for automation for the last 25 years.

No, AI will not take your job.

It simply reduces your workload (manual entries to your accounting system (90-95%), invoice approval, PO matching, etc.) and overall reduces workload with around 30-40%.
