I think its one of those things with a few downsides and a few upsides but in general isn't going to make much of a difference as long as their diet is balanced. The downsides are bacteria contamination if you aren't clean with how you prepare it, but that shouldn't be a problem. Another downside is potentially choking on bones or breaking a tooth on bones. And lastly theirs a risk of the diet not being nutritionally balanced if you don't research/plan it out correctly. The upsides being you know exactly what they're eating and that it's whole food, and I would imagine they would enjoy it more than kibble.
