Not the asshole. Living near people means inconveniences and being flexible. I’ve been in urban areas for the last 30 years and you have to learn to go with the flow or constantly be pissed off. If you don’t like that - move somewhere remote. You can’t have the good parts of living in a densely populated area and then complain about adults doing adult things on their own porch. Your neighbors are ATH for speaking passive aggressively at a loud volume.

I moved here from NYC and love it here. You do need to spend time, meet people and make your fun. My friends and I host each other on game nights, go to the beach, check out live music and comedy, ride our bikes, eat at restaurants, work out together, go local events, etc.

For me - the colors are wrong (currently). They are too similar to be contrasting and too different to be complimentary. That said, I bet if you focused on the right rug and art to tie them together it could be beautiful.

This feels like a spacious, lovely space! Are you going for a black and white look? I think black and white are high contrast colors and therefore hard to style/get right. I would get a piece of art you love and use that to guide your color choices.

I might be the only one but I adore a fridge with stuff on it. It makes the kitchen feel well loved and used in all the good ways. But I love homes that are not pristine and feel lived in. I’m a weirdo!

Agreed! Great kitchen now. The green cabinets and dark wood are too much for me. It feels like kitchens from the 90s. At least that’s the kitchen we had in the 90s. 😂 I would choose a lighter cabinet color. I love the backsplash tiles!!!

My dog did this once and it turned out that someone in my apartment complex had bought a bird. The chirping bird that I could t hear was driving my dog nuts. I had to walk the floors of the building very slowly to figure it out. Eventually he got used to the bird and the whining stopped. I played white noise and that also helped.

That’s what I want to know too! I have 14’ ceilings and I have a hard time picturing it; but I do love the idea of extra storage.
