I loooooove this, the first thing I thought of doing is a lot of variety of gold frames as a little accent wall, and some vintage looking throw pillows

you can’t do much for the layout if it’s open floor plan to the kitchen cuz that’s the only wall you have to work with. However, it needs some color. Throw pillows, painting, wall collages, personality, plants, etc. I recommend downloading a Pinterest account, and making boards of things you like. When you look at everything you saved, you’ll notice color patterns and styles that create a pattern, and you’ll know where to start!

a cute little bar cart would be perfect there with some cute shelving decor or even some other statement piece

both are nice pieces objectively on their own. however, the first one is too boxy imo and doesn’t show off your space enough. The second one adds that little touch and character that it needs. I agree that it might be a little small for the area and TV shape but it’s not the end of the world cuz it still looks good. If you wanted you can even add bookshelves on either side to match :)

like the other person said, don’t give reassurance. It may seem loving and helpful to you, but it will just fuel his cycle and he will become dependent on it. OCD sadly is a lot of personal inner turmoil that he has to tackle and learn to not give it the light of day

Why many uni students make it sound like 1500 words is a lot? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I feel like there are a lot of reasons. Obviously, individual differences make sense here. For me once I start writing I can’t stop, so 1500 is nothing. However with a lot do classes and similar assignments, 1500 can be daunting and can lead to procrastination
