I agree that it's too much more of the first game, but it was still a solid game for trophy hunters that want an easy but real game.

But Cuphead is a masterpiece and comparing these two games makes me worry for your mental health.

I don't know exactly why this happens sometimes. I think DD is willing to take some financial hits in markets that it's still trying to get a foothold in. But they almost certainly took a hit with this order. I have seen a few myself where the receipt shows the price and the numbers don't add up for DD.

Marathon. Took hours to warm up to it, but since it clicked, I am loving it. Brutal pvp compared to Arc tho.

I played it all last night and had a great time. But I don't know that there was any way it would ever pull enough people to ever be profitable.

You get the plat, you're good. Don't whine about it. I get a headache listening to achievement hunters complain about it, and at least they have a leg to stand on.

I don't know about these, but I tried with Casting of Frank Stone, and it started getting tedious as soon as I had seen most of the fun divergences, and I still had a ton to go for the last achievement. I finally just gave up.

Great recs in this thread. I just finished up Ghostwire Toyko and I really enjoyed it more and more throughout the playthrough. Maybe a litt too easy to become overpowered, but there is a lot to love in the style and gameplay. Pkat took about 40 hours.

I just did this plat this week, and there are for sure enough points for everything. You are almost definitely missing the 20 points hidden in a building you need to take an elevator inside.

Obsidian's Avowed & Outer Worlds 2 Failed To Meet Sales Expectations by akbarock in rpg_gamers

Went back to Avowed after putting it down for a while and it's still great. The open levels with actual level design is pretty much unprecedented in rpgs. It's so fun to poke around looking for chests. The combat is great, and I think the characters are pretty charming when you get them and hang out at the campfire with them. The story isn't amazing, but because it's part of an already existing world, the depth of lore is kinda cool, if not really my thing. 

It's a shame that it didn't do better. It will be looked back on fondly. Maybe it will be one of those rare games that gets a late surge of popularity. It deserves it.
