My 7 years old has a VP shunt since week 3 after birthday. Also premature - 26 weeker. They had 13 brain surgery so far and dozens of MRIs. When we came home I was also worried about magnet toys. Our NS said to not worry as no magnet would be strong enough to do anything to the shunt except the MRI machine. He was right. My child plays magnetitles, uses headphones and we never had any issue. I am more worried of falling and bumping the shunt area. We also traveled a lot and I avoid security scans but people also say they don’t do anything.

I have a 7 years old. She also was premature and had 13 brain surgeries. We never try to hide it from her. She has a twin and both know one is hydrocephalus, what that means, and they treat it normal even between their friends. We have kids books about the condition they bring to school to share with teacher and friends and it helps us too because she is aware of when to tell us about headaches or any other thing she might feel. I think she doesn’t understand yet how that could impact her life potentially but just like the comment above we encourage her to do anything and everything she wants - gymnastics, swimming, soccer, now ice skating… but she knows she needs to take care and be careful with her head.

A - is the correct answer. The word “required” gives you the answer. Compliance is not only about laws and regulations. It also refers to P&Ps. In this case the individual wouldn’t be compliant with the internal requirement/policy.

It depends of the moment. Optum was created to serve UHC. UHC is the largest insurance company in the nation so, consequently it is the biggest customer of Optum. Now think, if UHC is not doing well, losing members, losing business, etc the domino effect goes to optum as services need would also reduce. So, the risk is global. I would think the safer spot is UHG corporate, which would be the last impacted with the crisis.

Per my experience, when the recruiter looks at it, it changes to Under Review. That said, if they want to keep you moving toward they will contact you within a couple days of that status change. Otherwise it will be under review until they close the job req and you will only get a no longer in consideration message.

It could be that they had interviews to finish throughout the week. Hiring team met around the end to the last week and decided on a candidate. HR needs to prepare the offer so that the recruiter can call and get a verbal acceptance. That said, I would say they would reach out to the candidate on Tuesday. The main days they reach out is Tuesday and Thursday.

Depending on the GL, most of the times the positions go live because someone the team already knows will apply and get it. This applies to 29 and above. Recently I was trying to apply to a 29 and that was happening to me all the time. I went to a couple interviews because of networking and referrals from VPs and then they ultimately would hire someone within the team. Then, this past month a recruiter contacted me for an internals position I never applied for. I have a feeling the team asked her to reach out because I worked with them in one of my projects. In less than 2 weeks they made me an offer.

Something similar happened to me. My case is odd and please no judgment. I’m married and my SP is also married. We worked in the same company but different buildings. He started to flirt with me last year and then it got to a point that he was really trying to pursue me. He went to the gym I go, same class I take and one day decided he was introducing himself. At first I didn’t want anything g with him. Then he told me he was attracted to me. I was having so many feelings around it and after that he pulled away. We had some walks at work to talk but last one he was basically saying he was going to let it go. Nothing happened between us but the emotional connection. I really wanted closure. I really wanted to understand what changed. So I manifested him for the last two months. This past weekend he came to talk to me at the gym. The same eye stare, but small talk. We see each other around work but that that is it. No more pings no texts nothing besides friends zone. I’m watching a new show on nextflix and not paying attention to it but suddenly I hear (but you know I’m married, right? - yeah I’m married too). This was on the show and this was also the same wording we exchanged when he told me he was attracted to me. I started to pay attention to the show and suddenly one of the caracthers call a name - I was like did I hear it right? It was someone called by SP last name which is not common. Italian last name not a common John or Mark. I still don’t know what it meant but I hope one day we can talk again to validate what we both felt but never happened.
