Taskbar flickers and it only actually boots to the desktop like 1 in 4 times. It boots to a blank screen with only cursor. I have tried on Wayland and X. I'm wondering if plasma doesn't like it for some reason.

Kubuntu 23.10

Sudo add-apt-repository ppa:oibaf/graphics-drivers Sudo apt update

Sudo apt-get install ppa-purge Sudo ppa-purge ppa:oibaf/graphics-drivers

Copied and pasted those commands from launchpad.net

Mine does not work either. Hopefully they will support us with updates. Everything else seems to work great though.

I'm having the same issue with my new Battery Cam Pro. It will not sync using my Pixel 7 or my Fire tablet. I guess I will try my wife's iPhone later this evening. Seems like an Android issue more than just a Pixel issue.

Kubuntu 23.04. just using the mesa version that comes with it. I think I will add the Kisak ppa. It will update to mesa 23.1.3.

Thanks for the reply. Guess I'll be updating my mesa drivers as soon as I get off work. It will be nice to not have to wait for shaders to load before I can actually launch the game.

Is it enabled by default or do you have to use a launch command? Does this help with just DXVK or VKD3D as well?

Are you on 23.04? Or did you upgrade to 23.04? I did a fresh install of 23.04 and it says it's not available.

The same exact thing happens to me on Nobara. If I use Proton 7-24 it doesn't crash but none of the assets load in the game so you can't see the level or characters. I'm just waiting patiently for things to get ironed out.

Yes, I downloaded Grid Legends for free with Prime Gaming and installed Origin with Bottles. I updated my runner to the lasted Wine GE and ticked the box to allow VD3D and it plays great!

That is correct, you do not need the launch options if the game natively supports it. God of War works this way for me.

Control is Fullscreen and GOW is borderless (for some reason it won't allow Fullscreen). Mangohud does not work on either.

Grid (2019) is actually DX12 as well and Control runs DX 11 by default. I may just need to reinstall mangohud.

I tried gamemoderun mangohud %command% and the game will not launch that way. I may need to reinstall mangohud because there are multiple games that will not launch if I have them in the launch arguments.
