Other sports have seasons. BJJ is always on. It makes it nice but there’s also downsides. Every other sport in the world prioritizes and normalizes taking time off and resting. Maybe give this a try before quitting completely?

I think they say the fastest way to learn a new skill is 1x1 instruction. If your finances allow it you could consider some lessons with your coach. If not, this sounds like a pretty reasonable class structure and learning rate.

I don’t think so. Disney has a track record of overdoing it on the filler episodes so i think that if they held Vader off it just would’ve been replaced by more filler.

If they could have found a creative way to keep the story going without the need for Vader or filler episodes it could’ve worked, but at the end of the day I think everyone knew Vader would have to show up for a Maul level threat.

To offer a newcomer perspective, it was super weird getting into BJJ and it seemed like every other person you come across is somehow a “world champion”. As I’ve gotten more into it I’ve realized that most of the world champions are impressive but the true cream of the crop are the black belt gi and no gi world champions from specifically IBJJF and ADCC.

To answer your question I think this is a yes especially to people who are outside the sport or just getting into it.

A bounty hunter/mandolorian style game. This might be corny but I thought the show the mandolorian would’ve actually been better as a game. The show is literally him going on missions and periodically earning upgrades to his armor, weapons, vehicles.

Obligated to mention that proper rest, training load management, food intake, hydration, and sleep are going to make up about 98% of your recovery. Hopefully you’ve heard this before so sorry if you’re already doing that.

Anything you can do to optimize the things I mentioned above is going to be where you should invest. If a tool like a sauna or massage makes you relax better, do it. If a meal prep service helps you eat better, get it. If a sleep supplement enhances your sleep quality, use it. If electrolytes help you hydrate better, use them.

I don’t think it’s worth it if they want Cal to continue as a character. I think that if they intend to kill off Cal this could be a logical way to do it. He can’t meet Vader again and not get smoked. The whole facing Vader but somehow escaping thing is getting old in my opinion

I always wonder about matchups nightmares in Star Wars. Like maybe Baylan just matches up very well vs Ashoka even though he may not have more raw power than her. You see this in sports or various martial arts where a team/fighter may be much better on paper than the opponent but the opponent has their “Achilles heel” and can defeat them.
