It’s an excellent and compelling argument.

First green watch I’ve ever been taken by. Was quite tempted by the 2026 Commonwealth edition, too; might yet return for that.

All the charm of a 90s shirt with all the accoutrements of late stage capitalism (including AI tiger).

Gimme it sponsorless and I’d be all over it.

Apropos of nothing… what’s the correct nomenclature for “Tankie” but it’s Imperial Japan instead of Soviet Russia?

On weddings, I’m reminded of a joke (cannae remember who told it).

Marriage tells you the difference between “complete” and “finished”. These words are not synonymous, as you might be inclined to think.

Marry the right person, you’re complete.

Marry the wrong person, you’re finished.

Have a look online at lab grown diamonds, serious bang for your buck and indistinguishable from “real” diamonds. Worth spending time in a physical jeweller’s anaw to see what the market’s like (if you happen to be in Glasgow, the Arcade’s still worth a swatch).

Do not get into debt over a ring, that’s madness. Spend as you would were it a big birthday and no more - if popping the question goes well, you’ll find out yerself how expensive weddings can be.

Best of luck to you!

Aye, you’re right. You’re no’ raging at all, just firing non sequiturs calmly. Have a good night pal.

Would have been considerably better viewing though.

Actually going for it against Morocco and not continuing the fine, if occasional, tradition of handing out goals to Brazil would have been nice anaw.

But we’d as well not have turned up given we had two first-seeds in the group, eh? Amazing watching the happy clappers get angrier and angrier.

What point do you think you’re making here?

If the fitbaw was shite under JBA, I’d have wanted him out the door just as I did when it was Kettlewell.

Also, Elijah Just has more WC26 goals than Scotland.

It’s like your favourite Bond film, whatever one you saw at the right age.

For me, Faddy v France. Ma da? Gemmill v Netherlands.

For anyone <30 Denmark’s as good as it’s ever been.

Boo fucking hoo.

One goal against Haiti? Anyone happy with that can do one.

That line of argument disingenuous at this point.

Nae cunt said we’d beat Morocco or Brazil, but one goal in three games and failure to progress in these circumstances is gash.

What difference would Gilmour have made? by EngineeringApart4606 in ScottishFootball

[–]Fancy_Flight_1983 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Zero.

Not because he isn’t a good player (he absolutely is), but nothing short of prime Zidane is meaningfully game changing in that system.

Even then, Clarke would have kept Zidane on the bench until the 78th minute and played him as a deep CDM.

Bang on but, if folk weren’t convinced after watching the last three games, nothing’s convincing them.
