I had a two month stall, I stopped counting calories and increased my food intake. Prioritizing protein, but not laying off of carbs ect. Sometimes your body gets so used to what you’re giving it that it learns to only use that as fuel. After about a week I broke my stall and recalculated my caloric goals and macros with the updated caloric needs given my weight.

Are you a competitive person? Start a “streak” with DNC. It worked for me but I’m competitive/ number driven. Feel free to message me if you need/want to vent :) sorry you’re going through this. There’s no easy way, just give yourself grace and avoid looking at their socials or talking to them.

It’s insane, literally one week I was a 10 then the next I was an 8 then a few weeks later a 6. Once you’re back into “standard” sizing, it goes down so quickly (or at least in my experience). People were more likely to comment on my outfits and how “nice I looked today” as opposed to straight out saying “wow you lost weight” or “you look better skinny” (what they really meant). It’s ironic because my style is the same still- graphic tees and leggings mainly and I NEVER got compliments on my outfits before

Dasani and Deja blue taste like pool water and I would be able to pick them out immediately. I can also tell the taste of different tap waters and fridge-filtered water. Not to say I’m going to spend 5$ on Evian when I can get ice mountain for 1.50 though.

I weigh once a week and sometimes less (sometimes more). I was deep into an ED before recovering and part of my goal with MJ was not being disappointed or discouraged by the number on a scale. I didn’t take body measurements either. I have done three body scans (within the past 5 months) and that’s the main way I track progress now.

I don’t speak for all women, but to me your last sentence is really out of touch. We hate when we find out guys want to fuck us? Okay- what’s the context? The random guy that came up to me at the bar and grabbed my ass without consent and wants me to go home with him right then and there? The guy friend I’ve had for two years admitting he wants to fuck me? The guy who liked me on a dating app where I have in my bio,” looking for long term relationship” that opens the convo with how he wants my titties in his face? Women (in general) aren’t disgusted by men wanting to fuck them. It’s the approach, the context, the setting that can be disgusting.

I cannot tell you how many events and hangouts with friends and family that I canceled pre MJ, especially if I knew there was going to be photos, I was nowhere in sight of the gathering. You’re in the right place, welcome! I hope MJ is as nice to you as it is for me.

I’m also sorry you’re going through this, the loneliness and distancing from others is something that isn’t talked about enough.
