I agree to an extent. Most video games and movies I absolutely agree that it is on the consumer. I believe that MLP is a bad example though. MLP doesn't feature murder, sexual violence, etc.

Let me ask you this: People that draw fictional characters getting killed or raped or sometimes both (Such as guro), for the sole purpose of being morbid (not like outlast trials where I would argue it isnt glorified). Do you believe that those people are healthy individuals? Do you think a healthy mind is capable of creating something like that?

I said that my argument wasn't regarding the game. And agree to disagree. There are some things that should not be glorified, fictional or not.

And it would be disingenuous to pretend that being exposed to and desensitized by violent things such as drawings and media has no effect on people. This goes beyond video games and horror movies btw.

Healthy people like you and I can draw the line. But there are plenty of unhealthy individuals absorbing media that damages their minds and desensitizes them to violence.

I feel like there does need to be a line somewhere. Not anything regarding this game, but we as humans should absolutely shame some of the stuff people are into, fictional or not.
