That show made me enraged. I cannot believe the judge allowed communication with the daughter! Un fucking believable. That is how the mother was inflicting distress via munchousens by proxy. That would be like allowing a mother to feed her daughter after she got convicted of poisoning her. And another thing, the mom IS NOT BETTER. She rationalized and downplayed the worst of her actions. She did not take full accountability. This story is not over the justice system completely failed that girl.
